I've visited several luxury fragrance boutiques over the years, including the New York location of Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella, but the experience my husband, children and I had on Newbury Street in Boston was in a class of its own. Kendra Gerald delivered what I can only describe as true luxury hospitality. She wasn't simply selling fragrance, she was an extraordinary ambassador for the house. Her knowledge of every scent was remarkable, and she seamlessly wove in the history of the brand, from the smelling salts to the beautifully crafted Carta d'Armenia burning papers, making the visit feel like a private cultural experience rather than just a shopping appointment. I was genuinely undecided, yet there was never the slightest hint of pressure. Kendra allowed me the time and space to explore at my own pace; thoughtfully answering every question with confidence and grace. She even offered us water, a small gesture that reflected the level of care and refinement she brought to every interaction. The experience concluded with my purchase and generous selection of samples, which was a lovely and unexpected touch. In an era where genuine service has become increasingly rare, Kendra reminded me what exceptional client care should feel like. I’ve been interested in checking out the perfumes from this company knowing they recreated Catherine Medici’s bridal perfume. I was in Boston for a business trip and when I found out they had a location here, I immediately made time over a lunch break to check it out. Lily helped me, showing off a few scents for me. I ended up settling on the discovery set and she threw in a couple more samples for me to try. I tried their L’iris fragrance now that I’m home and while I’m normally not a white, powdery florals person, this might make it into my collection with a full size bottle. Excited to check out the rest!

Alexis led me on a journey through the brand and all their incredible scents. She is an absolute expert and I am so happy to have had her guidance. The continental scent collection for the home was like nothing else, if only they came in perfumes to wear as well. Cannot recommend this charming boutique, and Alexis, enough. Will be buying all my perfumes/soaps/candles from them, from now on. In love 💕
